Safe environment and great growth development
At Scooltastic Kids, our aim is to provide an environment that is safe, nurturing, and conductive for the environment of your children. Your children; at the appropriate age will be taught a number of things to help their development. Toys, shapes, colors, and other manipulative materials are used to help your children learn and grow. Children are introduced to letters and numbers and an array of other tools which will enhance both growth and development.
What children age do we serve?
Scooltastic Kids is a daycare and pre-school, that also offers after-school pick-up and homework help. We serve children from ages 6 months - 12 years of age. We are open year-round Monday - Friday 8a-6p excluding all major holidays. Scooltastic Kids has been serving the Coney Island community since 2001. We were down for a bit, due to Hurricane Sandy, but we came back stronger than ever.
Licensed and trained professionals
We are fully licensed by The NYS Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Our teachers are First-Aid/CPR certified along with our ongoing training and continuing education to promote our professional development. We have an open-door policy for parents to always be in constant communication with both the administrators and staff members. Our fully functioning facility is designed to promote the safety, cognitive growth, and development of your children. We pride ourselves on children being able to both read and write by the time they’re ready for Kindergarten. Children do not have to be potty trained.
Nutritious meals and peanut free facility
Scoolatastic Kids is enrolled in the State Food Program (CACFP) and monitored throughout the year. This is a program that ensures your child is being fed nutritious meals; including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and dairy products. Parents’ will be responsible for infant formula if needed. Menus are always posted in the kitchen. Copies are available upon request. We serve 1% milk to children over the age of 12 months. If you prefer soy, whole milk, Lactaid, etc. Please put it in writing and please provide it for your child/children. WE ARE A PEANUT FREE facility.
